1. Persiapan Sholat Idul Adha

2. Pelaksanaan Sholat Idul Adha

Takbiratul Ihram:

Begin the sholat by standing up straight and saying the Takbiratul Ihram or the declaration of intent. This is done by saying Allahu Akbar or God is Great while raising both hands to ear level.

Qiyam:

After the Takbiratul Ihram, recite Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by any other surah from the Quran. After completion of the recitation, bow down and say “Subhana Rabbiyal Azeem”, which means “Glory be to my Lord the Great”. Remain bowed for a few seconds before standing straight again.

Ruku:

After standing straight, perform the Ruku or bowing down. While in Ruku, recite “Subhana Rabbiyal Azeem”. After a few seconds, stand up straight again.

Sujud:

Next, perform the Sujud or prostration. While in sujud, recite “Subhana Rabbiyal A’la”, which means “Glory be to my Lord the Most High”. After a few seconds, sit straight up and recite the Tashahud.

Tashahud:

Recite the Tashahud, which is a declaration of faith. It is done by reciting Attahiyat and sending blessings on the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Salam:

End the sholat by turning the head to the right and saying “Assalamu’Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah” which means “Peace be upon you and God’s blessings” and then turn the head to the left and repeat the same words. After the sholat, greet and congratulate fellow worshippers and return home.
